LARGEST PHOTO OF SPACE EVER!

    Hi All,

    Firstly I don't apologise for the use of capital letters in the heading because I wanted to shout out about a website I have discovered.

    At http://gds.astro.rub.de/ you can find the largest ever photo of space, at an incredible 46 billion pixels.

    Astronomers at the Ruhr University Bochum's observatory (Atacama Desert, Chile) have spent 5 years taking photos then stitching 268 sections together to make a massive 194GB zoomable & searchable image.
