Here is the 'official' hale classification scheme description (alpha/beta/gamma/delta - and combinations of them): http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/info/glossary.html#mountwilsonmagnetic
This is where the classifications come from that you see when you click on 'Profile'. There are a load of Air Force guys that sit there and write down the classification of each sunspot group that comes on the disk.
Here is a slightly different version of the scheme used by the Belgians: http://www.sidc.oma.be/educational/classification.php#magnetic
And finally, here is the original paper where the scheme was described by Hale (pg. 18 of the PDF):
